Hard Row to Hoe Riesling 2019 - Hard Row to Hoe Vineyards
Looking for a serious and delicious Riesling? You found one. We make this Riesling with intention and with a grape that is often considered an afterthought. This lovely, dry, textural Riesling comes full of citrus and mineral flavors. It is thrilling as well as luscious. Not quite bone dry, it has great acidity and is fresh and balanced. Fermented and aged in very discreet Acacia wood barrels which provide structure and all the benefits of barrel aging, without the oak! The finish is long, clean, refreshing and will leave you wanting more. This Riesling comes from our organically-farmed Glacial Gravels vineyard located on the North Shore of Lake Chelan adjacent to the winery. Versatility is Reisling's strong suit. Pair with spicy foods, especially Middle Eastern or North African cuisine, we love it with harissa seasoning. Nose shows a bit of a honeyed apricot; ripe fruit. Stoney palate with good minerality, nice apricot flavors, well done. Nice length, again with rich extracted yellow stone fruit notes. 90 Points. -The International Wine Review.
